What’s one must-try experience in Trinidad and Tobago?
Michael Raney: “A must is to drive around the northern coastline for some amazing views and photo ops. Also make sure you stop at the food vendors on the side of the street for some pickled mango and other yummy treats along the way!”
Take the Scenic Route
A drive along Trinidad’s North Coast Road offers beautiful views of the Northern Range and the Caribbean Sea. Stop at Maracas Lookout to capture panoramic photographs before continuing to Maracas Bay, where you can enjoy a beach break and sample the famous bake and shark.
For a quieter coastal escape, Las Cuevas Bay offers another beautiful spot to relax and take in the scenery. Along the way, keep an eye out for roadside vendors selling pickled mango, preserved fruits and other local favourites.
The best part? You can take your time, explore at your own pace and discover little treats and scenic stops along the journey.
