In addition, groups enjoy outdoor activities at beaches and rivers and host sporting events.

Brief History

Boxing Day originated from the British where the custom of giving gifts or “boxes” (money or food) to servants, tradespeople, or the needy on the day after Christmas. Trinidad and Tobago adopted the holiday as a former British colony.
